Responsibilities : Represent the company commercially within their field of management: assigned region and accounts o Presence within the Chinese automotive market. Support the work of head of sales and represent Fagor Ederlan with current and future customers, both global and regional. o Establish and secure solid, stable relations with these customers to the decisional levels necessary for the development of the Fagor Ederlan group’s business objectives within the market. o Lead relations and management of *** accounts with regional sales management, coordinating support of group structures to develop objectives with these customers. o Establish and strengthen relationships with competitors within the relationship framework of their accounts and work with branch management on relationships with third parties and other leading partners within the automotive sector, as per Fagor Ederlan group guidelines. An integral part of the Global Sales Team o Form part of the global sales team. o Be functionally involved with other areas of the company such as Edertek, Engineering and Plants. Support Fagor Ederlan’s commercial structure, engineering and development, facilitating optimal management of projects with customers. o Inform accounts management and the Market department about their management and progress of the company’s positioning in the region (customer-competition-product-technology) o Complete picture of the group, of its needs and objectives: know the Fagor Ederlan group’s products and technologies. Be a qualified interlocutor in customer decision-making forums related to sales functions. Knowledge, market surveillance and strategic development o Knowledge about automotive customers in China: projects; strategies; structure and *** decision-making processes and relationships at a global level. o Actively participate in surveillance and monitoring of the Chinese market, concerning competitors, products and technologies. o Pass on market knowledge and opportunities to the Fagor Ederlan group via its reporting systems and commercial systems. Quotation management o Quotation management by supplementing the work of the account manager and adding value gained from proximity and knowledge of the customer and the region. o Pro-actively identifying business opportunities and new projects. o Together with the Fagor Ederlan group’s commercial structure, participation in defining the optimal conditions of supply, the current competition, the customer’s targets/goals and the key elements behind the reasons for purchase (e.g.: cost, development, production implementation, delivery times or other reasons) o Commercial negotiation skills, supporting the function and the leadership of the Fagor Ederlan group's business structure. o Actively monitoring the tenders and business expectations, identifying areas for improvement that may influence the appointment process. Help and support the group’s commercial function. o Active, influential management toward the Fagor Ederlan group when closing orders and contracts. Optimal customer relationship and account management o Commercial management, supporting the deployment of the Fagor Ederlan group’s sales plan in the region. o Management of schedules, sales, payments, and incidents with the customer in the region. . o Identification of areas for improvement with the customer in order to improve positioning as a benchmark supplier. o Control and management of customer relationships in the event of quality and/or service-related incidents working with interlocutors key to sales operations: purchases and engineering with the assigned technical resources o Support the commercial structure, engineering and development of Fagor Ederlan on specific projects with customers. o Facilitator of relations between our production plants in the region and the customer. o Support when arranging visits, approvals at plants. Qualifications : o Bachelor degree or above, mechanical or engineering majors are preferred. o More than 3 years of business sales or project work experience in automobile industry. Working experience in metal auto parts companies is preferred. o High degree of autonomy and management. Excellent read, written and spoken English is must. Spanish skill is preferred. Good communication and negotiation skills Effective management, organization and planning Good financial and legal business sense o Proficient in computer and office software (like WORD, EXCEL, PPT)
